Not certain how this change will be reflected in the reorganized company? I wonder if they are simply removing a layer(s) of management as a cost saving measure? Getting new products to market more quickly?

I always had the impression the companies were linked already. I saw this on the Esoteric fan page an Esoteric representative says Esoteric will keep their name and business as usual.
Teac has always been interesting to me, seemingly able to offer good products when they want then putting strange entry level stuff in places like Costco. Recently I heard a Teac DAC and was impressed. I'm guessing some trickly down tech maybe. They also have some good value integrated amps.Aurender ACS10 w/Audioquest Diamond USB, Esoteric N05xd
