My mom used brisket for pot roast. Done right that way it is as good as that one looks. Yes I know that is a tall claim, but true never the less..

    Re: BBQ Brisket Anyone?

I think it's Gourmet Chef. I bought it at Barbecues Galore a few years back. Very heavy, holds the heat pretty well, but a PITA to move around. I just got a new Weber Performer Platinum grill yesterday. It's my second, the bowl was burned out in my old one which I got about 18 years ago or there abouts.

I think that's the one I saw at Lowes last weekend. Very nice esp. at about 1/2 the price of the BGE XL I was thinking (lusting) about (for).

oh the Big Green Egg, man it's nice and it makes a great pizza . I was looking at the Kamado Big Joe 24, $1400.00

Anyway a nice comparison between the two brands Ceramic Grills - Kamado Joe beats the Big Green Egg

I got my vision at Costco. I wanted a bge but this is more then half the price. I have zero complaints about it. I can go slow and low or I can get insanely hot.
