Awesome....I have a friend who is trying to talk me out of my mid-fi consumer type tables (damn fine but..) and just move to 1 real table like a VPI or SOTA..yours is gorgeous.

Bay... Thank you very much!!! Your friend makes a good point but with one caveat, multiple tables is a good thing!!! :)

You have a point....I am not the typical - load an album and play. 50% of my fun is tinkering...LOL..sometimes with positive results..sometimes with GOOFS...but always fun...I would probably not be happy if I didn't have a tweak or adjustment to worry about ;)

Bay...here's another piece on VPI's debut of it's 3D printer produced JMW tonearm: http://www.analogplanet.com/content...l-tonearm-and-new-direct-drive-turntable-moto. Michael Fremer (Stereophile) on his Analog Planet web site discussed how Harry Weisfeld (VPI founder and chief designer) demoed the new arm vs. his standard JMW tonearm at the New York Audio Society and the consensus was that the difference was "profound" in favor of the one piece 3D version. Pretty amazing that 3D printing has already found applications in high-end audio

ANother pic of the 3D printed version of the arm:
