Hello. I have not seen anything posted yet about System Audio speakers. In my experience they are the most speaker you can have for the money. I may be wrong. There are hundreds and hundreds of good speaker brands. And I have only tried about a dozen such as Von Schweikert, Legacy Audio and Tyler Acoustics. But for the dollar System Audio comes out on top to these ears. I have owned the SA 705 and SA Aura 1 monitor speakers. I hope there are many out there that can share their thoughts on a great, if a bit under the radar, speaker company from Denmark. Their website has an English version.

I have very fond memories of hearing some excellent System Audio speakers over the years, and was particularly impressed with their SA2K monitors. They retailed for $3,500 in the US and offered a phenomenal value at that price. I found them to be easily competitive with other more popular brands even at several times of their price. They were beautifully finished and used custom built drivers from Scan Speak, as I believe the company still uses. I haven't heard their latest reference monitor, the SA pandion 2 but I bet it's great although I believe significantly more expensive. Unfortunately they only have a very limited number of dealers left in the US since they do not currently have active US distribution. They make speakers that are very musically communicative, and once you hear them they are hard to forget!

Yes the SA2K was one I was really going to get, but I really couldn't have any more bass in my apartment. The Pandion 2 is more like you thought which is at least 5 grand usd. I remember seeing the page on their website that showed how they built the SA2K and it was pretty surreal. Every cabinet was made from a special part of a special kind of a tree and the build quality did look wonderful. I am going to stick with my Aura 1s for now as they are perfect for my apartment and they are also front ported. :)

I am auditioning SA pandion 30 speakers tomorrow. Looking forward to it. I happen to have a dealer nearby in New Orleans. I had never heard of these speakers until reading about the SA30s in a recent issue of ToneAudio.

Enjoy your audition and I look forward to hearing your impressions. I've been unable to hear any of System Audio's current line for several years due to their extremely limited US distribution.

Well, I have found my new speakers. SA Pandion 30. My demo today blew me away.

I honestly cannot believe how good this speaker is when you take into account the very reasonable price, small footprint, great looks, and sonics.

The quality, and quite frankly quantity, of the bass was much better than I ever expected. All from (4) small 5" woofers, (2) in each speaker with a soft dome tweeter in between.

It's the perfect speaker for my home ... space, kids, low WAF etc. I'm very fortunate that a local dealer has these, only a couple dealers in the USA.

They were hooked up to Audio Research CD8, Ref6, and Ref150SE with Straightwire Crescendo cabling. I could have listened to this system all day long.

I'm flabbergasted that this brand of speakers, made in Denmark, has not "caught on" in USA by now.

Color me impressed.

Jason.......That's a better looking speaker than I originally imagined. A pair of them could easily fit into nearly any room.
