I reiterate that the HTMCPS is one of the finest sounding MC phono stages(to me) in comparison to numerous I have tried...
since I changed it to run on two 12v rechargeable batteries, I had to make some upgrades to make life easier.
1) Put on terminal clips so they are easy to remove when I switch to the charging terminal clips
2) Made a quick connect so I don't have to take the actual phono stage down when I want to move the batteries for charging (maybe twice a year..lol)
3) Added a switch and a display so I can check the remaining voltage at any time...so anything above 18 to 20 volts is good, 24 volts ideal ...full charge I get a little more than 12 volts each...
Remember, this is a simple board, straight DC powered, quiet, very detailed
Pictures of course !!!
The room is happy now...
