I put a pair of KEF T301's on the wall next to my flat screen TV this week. I think they look great and sound better than I thought they would. They don't take up any space. This allowed me to totally separate my stereo system from my TV system. Before this when I watched TV I had the MX136 going to the C2300 in passthru mode and had the C2300, two MC601's and the Crescendos on all the time. I found I didn't need everything on just to watch a TV show or the news. This should put less wear and tear on my stereo system and tubes. I do have a KEF XQ 50 center and KEF rears with an older Velodyne sub to still get 5.1 for the TV.
I don't watch any movies with this system. I do that in the HT system. I wouldn't suggest the T301's for serious music listening but for TV they are great or if you have limited space. My TV is a Pioneer Kuro monitor so I don't have any speakers in it.
I have to admit I am an old KEF fan. I had the KEF 104.2's for over 25 years and really enjoyed listening to them. My son now has them but they died a few months ago.
