I don't know if it is iOS 9.0.2, app 5.0.3, or both, but it doesn't crash anywhere near as much as before. Before on the iPad mini it would consistently crash switching between the browser, and the app. So far tonight it has only crashed twice. Much better.

I've got two ipads a 4th Gen and a ipad air (5th gen) don't own any mini's. Not really happy with the 9.0.1 load on my 4th gen pad ( I didn't load 9.0.1 on my ipad Air) as it hosed up my game apps and screen rotation on my 4th gen.

There is a problem noted about the new 9.0.2 load having issues with Safari, apps opens and close on their own, screen rotation issues, text issues, do a search there are a lot of odd issues. What I'm getting at, its not the Lumin app.

Can you explain the steps your using or what your doing between the browser and the app and I will give it a try. You can send me a PM.

Chris, I was saying it appears more stable now with iOS 9.0.2. Whatever the reason, I like it.

By crash, I mean when you double press the button on the bottom of the iPad, and then switch to the Lumin app, it would almost always reload the playlist in the frame on the left. Now that rarely occurred last night, so it seems something is more stable. I suspect iOS is the real problem, as the Chrome browser will also crash a lot.

Got ya Bud. When I get back to the mainland and back to FLA I will give it a try. iOS9.0.1 hosed up so much on my mac mini and my iphone 6 and one of my Ipads, I didn't load that version on the other ipad. Maybe 9.0.2 fixes the items I noted.

Then again, it has crashed almost every time tonight. Go figure. Software, can't live with it, and can't live without it. :)

This time when I switched back to the app, and it crashed, I 'think' I saw, for about a micro second, a message like 'Recycling index'. It was so fleeting it might have just been a neutrino striking my optic nerve.

On a positive note, it appears the playlist bug has been fixed. I found this bug a few days after getting my S1. The bug was that when switching from one playlist to another, the first playlist, or parts of it, remained in memory. For example, I have classical, jazz, and rock playlists, and each has hundreds of tracks. The bug would appear in this manner. If I was listening to the rock playlist, deleted it via the trash can, and then loaded the classical playlist, at some point a rock song would start playing. WTF! I always use random shuffle on my playlists. Anyway, I haven't seen this issue for some time now. Knock on wood.

Tonight I upgraded both iOS and Lumin firmware. No issues so far, and the app has not crashed yet. That is a significant improvement.

I upgraded one of my ipads airs to 9.0.2 and it hosed up (battery life, connectivity problems, touch screen functions suddenly stopped working but Siri worked ) not to mention screen rotation , the Lumin app and its new firmware still worked, but I had to go back to old ios 9.0 load to get my ipad back to normal. I'll wait a few weeks then try ios 9.0.2.

Why not try 9.1 ?

Unfortunately, the playlist bug just occurred. I am listening to my classical playlist, and a rock song from last night's rock playlist just started playing. Shostakovich is turning in his grave. :)
