conrad-johnson ART 88 Preamplifier
As some may be aware, c-j has a new state of the art preamplifier on the market. The first review is now available in the January issue of the British publication, HiFi+. Available on-line.
Early reports are that it betters the GAT series 2 in all respects. That is quite a claim but made by a fellow who has heard the Pre-amp in a number of systems... I believe he is a dealer, but respected for his opinion.

I wish Lew Johnson was not retired as I am no fan of the new industrial design of the ART 88. plain jane almost fugly. maybe it will grow on me.
Hopefully it sounds wonderful. Interestingly it has 4 x PCC88's now.
