    Looking for Android tablet recommendations

As an apple user, I know literally nothing about android tablets.
I'm now looking for one probably in the 8"-9" size and up to approx $300.
Mostly for use for a half-dozen android-only apps. Ideally, a crisp display.
You guys have any suggestions on what might fit the bill?
    Chris

Re: Looking for Android tablet recommendations

I would look at Google's own tablet the Nexus which is made by HTC and has the all metal case like the HTC phones. Google's own products usually come without the "bloatware" the other manufacturers load on their tablets. Also the new model Asus units the Zen tablets have been well received.

Re: Looking for Android tablet recommendations

I have a Samsung which once it updated, never turn off unless the battery dies.
    Just tossing that in there.
I spent hours and hours with CS and tech trying to correct the issue. I finally gave up.
Other than that its a great tablet.
