    Roon ARC

    What is it? Any advantages adding it to my system. All I need to do is download it. But I'd like to learn a little more about it before downloading.
    Amplifier: Pass Labs INT 250 integrated.

    DAC/Streamer: MSB Discrete Dual Power Supply.

    Server: Roon Nucleus with lifetime subscription.

    Speakers: Harbeth Super HL 5+ 40th Anniversary
    Model.

    Headphones/Amp: Focal Stellia phones, NAIM Uniti Atom Headphone Edition headphone amp/music player/server/streamer.

    Cables: AudioQuest Rocket 88 speaker cables,
    Mackenzie interconnects.

    Speaker Stands: HiFi Man.

    It allows your mobile devices to access your ROON server and library and stream to your mobile device. That may or may not be useful to you. For example, I tend to just use my Qobuz app to play music on my phone. I could use ARC but the Qobuz app seems more reliable.

    Most awesome thing about Roon arc, you can stream everywhere your own ripped cd’s on your roon server, which are not in the Qobuz/Tidal database.

    Excellent point.

    Corollary #1: If a Roon user subscribes to only ONE music service (Tidal OR Qobuz), then Roon ARC may not be necessary since the user can stream directly from the Tidal or Qobuz app.
    Corollary #2: If a Roon user subscribes to MORE than one music service (Tidal/Qobuz), then Roon ARC allows the user access to BOTH via one app (Roon ARC).
