Re: Qubuz in the USA is just around the corner.
We feature over 130,000 albums (about 2 million tracks) in high resolution available for streaming and download. This is on top of the 40 million 16-bit/44-kHz full resolution cuts.

Re: Qubuz in the USA is just around the corner.
As long as it isn't like cable TV where you have hundreds of channels, and there isn't anything worth watching.
I like that these guys also sell what they stream, which is important when the network is down for some reason.Bud

It will be interesting to see how the pricing for high-res downloads compares to HDTracks. I also like that you can listen to an entire recording before purchase, unlike HDTracks snippet preview.

Re: Qubuz in the USA is just around the corner.
I’m interested, Tidal works but not jumping over joy with it as it’s focus is not my first, second, third...choice
Now that I now how to properly say it’s name, I’ll get it and probably run both for a bit.
Looking forward to hearing more at RMAF 2018.

Re: Qubuz in the USA is just around the corner.
I run both.
Tidal has some (but only a few) pop tracks not available via Qobuz.
Qobuz (I have the hi-res subscription) is truly excellent for jazz, blues, world music and classical.
In the future, I might choose to drop Tidal.Vivid Audio - Burmester - Halgorythme - Marantz - Oppo - Pioneer 60" - Wireworld

Re: Qubuz in the USA is just around the corner.
for those using quobuz with a stand-alone dac, how have you implemented streaming? also, how are you controlling quobuz streaming?
i see there is audirvana+ integration, however, best i can tell there is and will be no roon integration. i also see quobuz integration with a variety of network players such as lumin, etc. however, i am just curious as to solutions others here have used for their stand-alone dac.
finally, going on the sublime+ pricing in the UK, it would be twice the cost here in the US as tidal -- are you finding the quobuz hi-rez streaming experience worth this premium?

Re: Qubuz in the USA is just around the corner.
I use my Auralic Aries G2.
As for Roon: https://community.roonlabs.com/t/is-...8/510?u=drtone
Pricing won't be a straight currency conversion from pounds.
RowEn ;):D For time being only sold here in CH (bit in Germany), but actively working on widening the distribution reach so hopefully soon in other parts of the world. Norm great write up - thanks!
