New Luxman DAC to debut at New York Audio Show

Luxman won their first award for the best cost no object DAC back in 1987 when they won Stereo Sound's "Grand Prix" award.

Based on the stunning D-06 CD / SACD player; the DA-06 shares the same Processor, DAC & Power supplies as the D-06. But the retail price has dropped considerably from $9,000 to $6,000. Compatible with DSD and Double DSD as well as DXD (up to 32 bit, 384 kHz), this DAC should be able to handle all upcoming music files for many years to come. DSD over USB is handled with DoP.

Please stop by Room 1109 and listen to the DA-06 which will be presented by none other than the US distributor for Luxman, Philip O'hanlon in one of the three Rhapsody Music and Cinema sponsored rooms. The Luxman DA-06 will be front ending the Mola Mola electronics/Vivid Giya G3 speakers.

Here is what Jason Victor Serinus wrote in Stereophile recently:
"Some of the most colorful and engaging music playback I've ever experienced in an audio showroom, big or small. The tonality was gorgeous, with a sweetness that would make of many a seasoned audiophile a kid in a candy store. Images were perfectly placed, instruments clearly defined, and timbres fleshed out in the most musical way imaginable. The sound was, in a word, luscious."
