Re: AES/EBU Cables
I have a Wireworld Starlight 6 AES/EBU cable that was miles ahead of a stock cable and a Best Buy Rocket cable. I just removed it from my system as a configure modification left me with no place for the cable. I was thinking of putting it up for sale on one of the audio sights if you're interested.

Re: AES/EBU Cables
I had a number of AES/EBU cables in house.
WW Platinum 8
Shunyata Sigma
Shunyata Omega
Nordost Valhalla II
MIT MA-X
I ended up buying the Nordost Valhalla II. My second choice would have been the MIT MA-X.
The Nordost had better attack, more inner detail and a precise soundstage.Main Equipment: Kharma Elegance dB11-S, JL Audio F113v2 X 2, Esoteric Grandioso C1X Solo, Bricasti M21 DAC & M28 Mono Amplifiers, Antipodes K-50 Server with 4TB internal SSD

Grounding: Shunyata Altaira CGS - Alpha CGS cables,
Network : Supra Cat 8+, Twin (Nenon) Modified Buffalo GS2016 Switches with fiber in between powered with Keces P3 LPSU,
Cables: Nordost Valhalla 2 AES/EBU, Wireworld Platinum Eclipse 8 Speaker cables, 6M Tubulus Concentus ICs,

Re: AES/EBU Cables
The longer the AES/EBU cable . the more important it is to stick with the major bulk cable manufactures like:
Belden, Canare and Mogami.

Re: AES/EBU Cables
Everything I do in this hobby is balanced against what I am willing to spend. Wish it wasn’t so but it is.

Re: AES/EBU Cables
For the objectivists, the difference between different AES/EBU cables comes down to the quality of the materials and connectors. Belden, Canare and Mogami make excellent cables; Neutrik is recognized as producing excellent connectors.
If you are a subjectivist, then your best bet is to try different brands and then decide. There are vendors that allow you to try different brands before you make a purchase (The Cable Company comes to mind; but I bet that there are others).
Good luck!

Re: AES/EBU Cables
There shouldn’t be any differences between AES/EBU cables but there are. This is because a lot of the gear does not adhere to the standard 110 ohm characteristic impedance spec and a lot of the cables don’t either. So what should be a slam-dunk is anything but.

What can I say... Lightroom has sliders for that kind of thing :) The rear isn't a photo though - the production sample for photography will be along soon - allowing photos of the inside too.
