Clarisys Audio Auditorium Install
The first North American Clarisys Audio Auditorium install took place in North Carolina this weekend. My amazing crew and with the help of Florián Wiegand from Clarisys, the install was a resounding success.
The gracious customer has a wonderful home and the most perfect room for the Auditoriums. I would love to have a room like that. A dream!
We got the speakers installed and dialed in within a few hours and even had the chance to try a couple of amps and DAC’s. His new Horizon only had 4 hours on it, but it sounded wonderful. The Absolare also sounded good. The customer uses Audience cables and even had the matching jumpers so we didn’t need the stock jumpers.
Once the equipment warmed up, the sound in his room was massive! I played Alternate One by Clark Terry and was blown away! Close your eyes and the band was in the room! Vocals we’re hauntingly real. The system has amazing imaging and depth. Since all the drivers are the same material, the coherence is perfect. Instruments that span different driver frequencies are seamless. The combination was also very dynamic and fast!

Gorgeous. Did corner tube traps stay or go? Did they enhance or detract from bass imaging?
