Welcome to AudioShark Huite! Sorry I don't have any first hand experience with Chord amps. You have a very nice system and a stunningly beautiful room setup, looks like something out of a home decor magazine!

Huite - very nice looking setup! I'm very familiar with the Chord digital products, but the amps, I've only heard at shows. They sound very nice.

    Re: Chord Electronics Amps?

    Thanks Mike!
They were advised to me by a well-known Dutch retailer who doesn’t sell Chord products...
I had a Chord stereo amp before and he was impressed by the combination with the DAVE and the M-Scaler. I thanked him by buying the 800’s at his place!

And as you know, don’t use the DAVE as a standalone DAC but as a Pre (and DAC)!

Huite, welcome to the fold. As to your 'set up', why all the furniture in front of your speakers ? Your ears (and soundstage) are their happiest when nothing is between them and the music !
    Cheers ! …. Dave

    Re: Chord Electronics Amps?

    Hi Dave!

Don/t worry, there is nothing between my/our ears and the upper part of the B&W's (mid/high).
The furniture is even part of the acoustic treatment of the room which is done by a well-known expert!
    Come over and listen!
