Leo takes the best photos. His annual pics from Munich are second to none IMO. He takes ~2000 pictures during each show.

I thought that that he must have other ppl to help him - at least with uploading, resizing, watermarking etc - but he is doing everything by himself. He spends whole days at the show and then - when other reviewers go to the dinners - he works till very late at night in his hotel room to upload his daily shots.

The guy is like a machine !

Yes, Leo's pics are the best. This is the first CES that has almost no forum discussions about the rooms and the sound. I read somewhere 30% less rooms in the Venetian than at RMAF. It was DEAD in the halls and rooms at CES in 2016, have not heard any mention of attendance and if things were hopping or dead this year.

That's why I'm not there this year. Last year was a bust. CES is focused on drones, TV's and VR. CES has become insanely expensive and the crowds make doing anything or getting anywhere a real challenge. It's way better and way more fun at Axpona, RMAF, Capital, Newport anyway.

    Re: Ces 2017

This is the first year in 5 years that we did not exhibit at CES (Kondo/Kaiser) and I doubt if we will ever be there again. The halls and rooms were empty last year and I've talked to people that are attending this year and they say it's even worse this year vs. 2016.

    Re: Ces 2017

I attended CES 8 times in 9 years but gave it up after 2014. I was happy to do so. I much prefer Newport. At least the old Newport. Time will tell what happens with two shows in So. CA. three months apart. The L.A. Audio Show is in June at a new venue and the "new Newport" is in Anaheim in September at a new venue as well. Interesting times.
