I'm just a guy who likes to take photographs, especially when we travel.
Grew up in the film era of cameras and later slowly got into digital photography.
So many places I still want to see and photograph!

We are typically camping when I shoot, so everything I need is carried in a LowePro backpack.
Nikon D850, Really Right Stuff ball head on a carbon fiber tripod, Sigma 14mm, Nikkor 16mm, 17mm-35mm, 28mm-300mm.
Assorted polarizer and ND graduated filters.

Thanks. You sure are prepared for every photographic challenge in terms of what you carry in your backpack!
Have you considered selling your photographs? I find them better than the work of some of the professional photographers that sell their stuff in art exhibitions/festivals.
I would gladly pay for it!

2002 Bali bombings occurred on 12 October 2002 in the tourist district of Kuta on the Indonesian island of Bali. The attack killed 202 people.
We were there, on the other side of the Island scuba diving. The following morning we arrived in Kuta, amid the broken glass and mourning people.
I took this shot the next day just outside the city, at one of the numerous Hindu shrines that follow along the coastline.

"After the Storm" - Delicate Arch, Arches National Park.
I was disappointed when we first arrived at Delicate Arch, on our first trip. The area was crowded with tourists and really took away from the emotional impact of this place. A storm blew in, so we decide to put on our Gore Tex and hunker down until it passed. The clouds parted just as the sun was about to set and I took one shot!
Best of all, the rain had scared away every single person except us!!
