Perhaps you're looking for ideas (or bragging about those Acoustats!). I've found that power cords, especially source cords, are extremely important for sound quality. For example, in my desktop system I was shocked by how much a good power cord from wall to computer determines for what follows. Much to my surprise, even just changing from a TWL 10+ to 8+ for that computer cord made a substantial difference in virtually all SQ respects. I've used a Grant Fidelity power cord in both of my systems, including with their TubeDac-11. Given my experience with it and looking at the quality level of other cables and components in your system, I'd say there's a lot to be gained from auditioning other PCs, whether at the same price level (Shunyata Venom III) or heading up into the $180-$350 range (e.g., Triode Wire Labs, Cullen). I say audition because power cords seem to be the most component sensitive of all cables, so working off reviews and recommendations can only get one so far.

Three mentions of Acoustat in your post, taken as a whole. Didn't you read your own post?

I'm not trying to imply anything. I stated all but directly, and speaking from experience with the Grant Fidelity cord, that there is at least one much better cord in the same price range, and even much better ones than that inthe next price level up, where I found your interconnects are (from a quick search). And the result of such a change would be substantial improvement in what you hear (assuming decent ears, which you seem to have). I'd also suggest looking at the outlet feeding the power conditioner, if you haven't already. I assume in a thread such as yours that the OP is looking for ideas, whether for now or eventually; otherwise, what's the point - bragging, cheerleading, taking a public opinion poll, boredom,...? In any case, there's apt to be discussion and suggestions.

Sorry but what you see at the bottom of EVERY posts is my signature ( my name - my system - and a quote like so many others ) never said that the cables i own are the best just wrote what i owned and asked others to do the same plain and simple, please if you want to participate just write down what you own . thank"s

Mine aren't the best either. What's your purpose in starting this thread - plain and simple?

interesting to see what people use. there are so many cables out there. im sure the worst cable and the best cable are different but by how much? i use inexpensive cables. my tonearm cable is ortofon 6nx-tsw1010
from pre to amps is an acoustic zen silver reference 2
for the cd player which is rarely ever turned on is consonance billie cables
speaker cables are granite audio, forgot the model number its the item that has been in my system for the longest time.
and i use cheap but real good pangea power cords.

its a mish mosh of cables but it does the job and none of em broke the bank.

Hi again MOST members here list their system in their signature and knowing what cables they are using could help others in choosing their cables nothing more, this thread is more out of curiosity than anything else nothing to do with others approval or not of your choice, i think whe can all decide what to choose for ourselves whe are all grown men, it is your choice to participate or not, live and let live.
