What does the Cable Company have to do with a new product from Audio Magic? you may want to change the click bait subject heading.

I always thought CE was "capillary electrophoresis"; well, it was when I was workin' at ABI developing molecular diagnostics PCR-based tests for things like familial hypercholesterolemia or hereditary non-polyposis colon cancer...😜

"Enthusiastically suggested for in-home audition through The Cable Company Library."

So they believe in it. It would be interesting to know what percentage of people buy it after the in-home audition, but I doubt that information would be shared. Either way, IMHO this item is merely part of the large segment of dubious audiophile tweaks and accessories.

Blue Fox's point is still valid. And, as mentioned it's in the lending library, I'd think someone must buy them or the CC wouldn't keep offering them. Even if the company didn't reimburse shipping there is still the cost of a person filling the order and receiving returns. So you wouldn't be in business long without sales.

So wecan assume at least some validity or they can be thankful for mass delusion.

the only one delusional enough to buy them would be the same individual that believes cables to be more important than speakers / room in the pecking order of system set up.

Pardon my ignorance, but after reading the ad itself, I still have no clue what these are supposed to do or what you do with them.

I think if attach them to a stick, they will spin in the wind. In reality, I assume they just add a little dampening effect if placed on a piece of equipment. Other than that, I can't imagine what they do.

    They make the component moist?

Re: The Cable Company , what the heck ?? !!

Even as a high-end cable "believer" that's definitely not something I'd buy, or even bother to try for free. But what's a cable & tweak retailer to do? They're already focused pretty heavily into the "I'll try anything" segment of the high-end market. Are they going to lose the business for this "tweak" and push out a philosophy of "here's the line where things stop mattering"? That's a hard line to draw, even for some manufacturer's offerings.

Is this any worse than a Bybee "quantum filter"? Many audiophiles love those, and some manufacturers have even included them in their upgrades & premium offerings.

Hi Dave! Yes, moved up here March 2020 and absolutely loving it. I can sit in my easy chair and look out the window and see Pike's Peak. I've now got a great space for the music system. If you're ever up this way I can offer you drinks and music.
