    BiWire Heaven!!

Ok, this is kind of fun!
I'm currently selling a couple sets of Transparent Reference MM2 and XL speaker cables I acquired recently.
While I await for a lucky buyer to come along, I decided to swap out my Audioquest Thunderbird cables for these 2 sets.
My MBL 101E speakers require 2 sets of cables biwired, to power the Tweeter/Midrange and the Bass.
Perfectly happy with the performance I am getting from the AQ Thunderbird cables.
Then I swapped them out for these monsters.
    Holy Crap!!
Wasn't expecting much improvement, but these 2 sets used in a biwire configuration is the best my system has ever sounded!
Incredible imaging of not just the vocals, but all the instruments too.
Pity, because I have too much invested in these cables to keep them long term.
    But man what music!!

Yes, not surprised. I tried the AQ Thunderbirds with my MBLs. Nothing wrong with them until I tried the WW Platinum; it was an OMG moment.

If it's the best your system sounded I'm confused why sell them. For me the money is spent might as well use them especially if the results are that good.

Do you plan to go back to the AQ or buy something different? I couldn't go back knowing my system would go backward in performance. Unless some financial emergency. Seems cables depreciate more than most components too.

    Re: BiWire Heaven!!

I'll go back to my Audioquest Thunderbirds when I eventually sell these Transparents.
    The Thunderbirds actually sound wonderful!
Keeping these 2 sets of Transparent Audio speaker cables would cost me about $24000, which is insane!!
Thanks, Guys, for you input and opinions......

They are staying in my system, until they eventually sell.
Best my system has ever sounded!

They are no longer on the floor.
    Is the support stone?
    Has the sound improved?

    Re: BiWire Heaven!!

I always try to keep most of my cables off the carpet, as a matter of protocol.
Not really sure if the dense foam blocks help or not...
