Auditioning inakustik Referenz LS 4004 AIR speaker cable

Yes indeed, I do. I just switched speakers to Kharma DB9-S 1.1. And the amp, speakers and cables work very well together.

The InAkustik LS Reference Air 4004 are very neutral and detailed, an do convey the full audio spectrum in a balanced manner.

They are pricey but the technology looks very sensible and everyone seems to like them.

Hi, Kuoppis. I hope you are well.
I tried to buy a pair from my local retailer (Len Wallis Audio, Sydney).
They only had a demo pair available, which they offered me at a tiny discount.
I didn't think that was worth it given they were quite old in their system. If they had offered me a home trial, 20-25% off or some other incentive I'd have taken them, but I didn't feel like they were particularly interested.
Hopefully I've not done myself a disservice, but I have ordered some Silversmith Audio Fideliums for trial.
I'll let you know how I go.
(LOVING the Humboldt- an extraordinary machine!)
 
Is there any comparison with the LS-2404 cables,? I have the LS -2404 on order but my dealer Unlimited Audio got in a same length pair of the LS 4004. Is the retail increase worth it?
 
I auditioned first the LS-2040 and then the LS-4004, and ultimately went with the higher model, as I felt they were significantly better.

I see you have Magico (from the look i guess it's S3mk2), my local Magico dealer holds those cables, after hearing them on his setup i can confirm your opinion on those cables.
what speaker cable did you use before the inakustik?

I was using a WyWires platinum full loom.
