    AudioQuest Golden Gate RCA Question

Okay. I’m used to white and red RCAs for left and right channels, respectively. Here the colors are white and gray. Which one is right channel (usually red) and left (usually white)?

Re: AudioQuest Golden Gate RCA Question

You get to pick. Just be consistent. Personally, I'd make white - white and red - gray.

Re: AudioQuest Golden Gate RCA Question

Thanks Tino. I forgot to tell you the issue. The input termination is a Naim DIN which is why I need to know which color is left and right. Thanks!

Re: AudioQuest Golden Gate RCA Question

I'd still guess that white was left and gray was right, but I have no knowledge of how Naim DIN connectors work. Is it possible to try it both ways in order to figure out which is the correct configuration?

Didn’t see it on the box. No instructions came with the cable and couldn’t find it on their site.

Check if there are tiny characters on the cables that say left and right.

Perhaps post a couple of pictures to better explain the problem?

Plug it in, hook it up and then play one of the test disc that plays right channel then left channel. see if it's correct.

    The answer from AudioQuest:
