Hi James,

Do you have your automated reply ready for "cubed" inquiries yet?! :)

Can you give me an idea of eta?

They look absolutely stunning!

Cheers,
James

James,

I wish you and Bryston the best of luck during the introduction of the new gear. Congratulations!

Definitely not a fan of the new panel though.

When would production stop on the SST2's if it hasn't already?

Hi Rod

We have a few amps of the SST2 versions still available but you would have to order soon

james

Thanks James

A question about the new faceplates, since the look caused me to take a step back. Is there a particular internal design reason for the elevated square mid section or is it strictly cosmetic?

It was mainly cosmetic but it does help in lower costs going forward as all the front panels for a specific size are the same and we just have to inset the appropriate model plate as required.

Are you going to upgrade your 28's Joe?

99.99999% sure I will do it. I have 19 years warranty and I just need to figure out what the upgrade will cost. It looks like it will be fairly expensive. I have to weigh the cost of selling vs the upgrade. I have a feeling it will be a little cheaper to upgrade than to sell and replace.

I am so grateful to Bryston that they are even considering an upgrade. I love these amps tremendously and think the "new sound" will be even more to my liking. I had a feeling when I was buying them that it was just a matter of time before a refresh was going to happen. I bought them anyway having a gut feeling they'd be awesome on my Strads. I was right. Having a pathway to the new Cubed status is icing on the cake.
