Love those white wheels (with red brake calipers?)...tight look
-

Love the white wheels, too!
Here's mine:
2012 Audi S4. Chipped, new suspension, and new rims.

Yes, red calipers, but these wheels get dirty immediately. Going to get a 2nd set and have em painted dark grey. (i.e. brake dust color...)
Love that S4. I've got a friend here with one, fantastic car!
-
April 7, 2013, 07:40 PM #10
thx, Jeff.
But before you change wheel colors, Armorall has some wheel protectant spray out there, sort of like a spray on wax that really minimizes brake dust buildup. I use it on my wheels and I can go about a week without too bad a buildup. The white wheels does look sharp on the car! Just a thought.

Hi Deb, great to see you here! Welcome to AS!
This is the exact color I would have gotten had I gone with an M3. Love that blue! Unfortunately, I needed/wanted AWD so went with the S4. They have the most boring colors.
Alright, a fellow tracker! Isn't it an absolute blast?! It's how the M3 was meant to be driven! Any mods to your car?

Thank you for the warm welcome
That blue is beautiful. Yet I do agree with you with the AWD. With as much as it snows here, I am not able to drive it much over the winter and spring. We have a Subaru with AWD for that purpose.
Going on the track is amazing! Have a few connections there, so not only get to play on the track, but also get to watch a lot of races as well. The traction control saves me, admittingly, and makes me that much more gutsy on turns. They have a nice LONG straight that I have been able to get it over 140 easily (I could push it more into the corner, but don't want to risk it). We should have a track day sometime!
PS - no mods. I have wanted to do a cat override and exhaust, though (easy little boost with not too much work).Last edited by Lildebs; April 11, 2013 at 01:47 AM. Reason: Added PS

Completely agree! I love the M mode button. You can take it off for a more comfortable ride, and turn it on for tighter suspension, and quicker response. Stock, it does very well on the track!
While in the topic of cars, here is a photo of my hubby's car (me driving it, of course!!) Completely restored '68 Camero. Sadly we will be selling it soon, but it is a beast to drive. 500 HP to the wheels, and could SMOKE my M3 in a drag race (I would kick his tail on the track! No power steering ). Will be really sad to see it go
