Spoiler alert but to save you what may be a long read this only involves anyone who uses Voice Over on the iPad/iPhone.

Last week thinking it safe by now I updated my iPad to 16.1, then last Friday after the update I went to open Conductor but it wouldn't open. I did the usual things one might think of but no good. I posed the issue on the Aurender Music Server Owner Facebook page, then deleted the Conductor app and reinstalled it which didn't help. So I asked if anyone else reported the issue, I was told no, this told me the problem must be with me, my gear. I should mention the issue was only with Conductor app, even ACS Manager opened.

Everything I could think of I had done to correct the issue, so on a whim I got my wife to help me, I turned off the Voice Over, the Conductor opened but would not work when Voice Over was turned back on. So I called Kelly at Aurender support who was able to duplicate the problem and report it to the powers. I was happy I fingured ot the issue but not that I was out of my Aurender until the issue is resolved.

Chapter 2, oh, there's an iPhone app, to save time same issue. However, Kelly found a work around for the iPhone, if you turn VO off then you can select your unit, then once VO is turned back on you are in business.

So on Tuesday after I noticed a Conductor update, sure enough a fix was out that fast, I was very happy to say the least.

I do have my turntable and a transport but streaming is what I do most. Not being able to see the CD/LP covers then browsing through my music with my finger and able to read it on my iPad, you can see the attraction to streaming.

As a side note the phone app was fine to get me by for a short time but I prefer the iPad full Conductor app.
