Aurender Firmware Upgrade
Aurender just released a major firmware upgrade. It greatly improves the clock/timing and the quality of the digital outputs. To say this upgrade is substantial sonically would be an understatement.
After the unit reboots, reboot it a second time.

The update appears to be specific to the W20SE model (per the attached clip from Aurender's system software page). So those of us with the more lowly units need not get our hopes up quite yet...

Thanks for the info on the update. Can't wait to try it out tonight. Looking forward to see if I can hear improvement over the great sound that the W20SE already has.

Well, I just installed the update and all I can say is WOW. It is a significant improvement when I thought it couldn't get any better. The update and having Critical Listening Mode enabled has put me in heaven.

I updated my new W20SE right out of the box so no basis for before/after comparison. I will say that the W20SE is a clear improvement over the N10. And it’s still improving with use... 🥳
