Mike,

What Aurender models is Conductor 4 used for? I tried to install in on my N20 and the device was not found. My N20 was powered on at the time. I did get a separate tab with a big "4" in the center of it installed on my iPad.

Is "settings > update software" an alternative route to Conductor 4?

I do not see N30 listed on the Aurender website. Is it going to be replaced?

Conductor is for all models.

It is the same. It’s only missing from the menu. But it’s all there.

I was looking at the menu.

Is "settings > update software" an alternative route to Conductor 4? Since it is Beta it may not be. I do not know why my N20 was not found.

I don't think V4 is beta anymore is it? Several users online have it and seem to provide positive experiences with it. Although I get a pop up advising not to upgrade if using Voice Over on the iPad. Thankful for that and I'm waiting.

Download it from the App Store.

Been there, done that. My N20 was not found even though it was powered on and connected to the internet via Ethernet and working fine to play music.

Make sure the old app isn’t open

I’ve been using the Conductor V4 with my Aurender N20 for several days now. Like the new vTuner functionality; lots more stations available. Like the playlist editing changes as well (improved “workflow”). I have not noticed any audible improvements.

I initially experienced some minor issues when I first downloaded Conductor V4 but those were all resolved when I removed the previous Conductor app from my home page (iPhone and iPad).

So downloading V4 is like starting new, you have to set up your unit etc.?

I suppose your library info is stored in the Aurender and streaming service so all of that will appear in V4 with no issue?

The Conductor app backs up your Aurender device(s) settings, playlists, favorites etc, and saves them (as does the new Conductor V4). When I downloaded Conductor V4 and started the application, Conductor V4 initiated the same process as the previous version. V4 "recognized" my Aurender N20 and restored the backed up settings to V4. Once the connection is made there is a new introductory page that describes the new vTuner for internet radio and gives one the option to turn it on in the V4 application settings.

Conductor V4 has worked without issue when I connect via my iPad. However I have had some minor connectivity and use issues when using V4 with my iPhone. I try to avoid using my iPhone to control the N20 because the user interface on the iPhone version of Conductor (old version or new V4) is quite kludgy IMO. Stick with the iPad.
