Re: Simple Room Simple System simply to enjoy

Thanks, I had Talon speakers before the Magico. My first Talon speakers were the Khorus speakers that I used in a two channel system. Then I down sized to the Talon Khite monitor speakers that I used in a seven channel home theater setup. I sold off most on my HT equipment and decided to go back to just two channel and my Plasma tv. I'm much happier with this system.

Thanks everyone. I use to have a projection screen hanging there years ago. So, it was a fairly easy use of the hooks. Plants just help make the room less overrun with equipment and cables.

It's on my list of upgrades. I'm also considering the Gaia II's. I haven't heard any reports on either on the A3's.

I'm also looking at building a new small box audio pc and ethernet filter options. Or the SonicTransporter for HQ Player + Roon Server from Small Green computer company. They are so many options in that area I'm a little baffled at this time.

Well, you know men. Take a simple plan and room and then go overboard!

Mike I agree about the combination. They just play well together. And my next....last upgrade will be the Shunyata Alpha USB cable. I'll contact you or your store on that soon.

Ed, come on by when you have the time.

Simple Room Simple System simply to enjoy

Very nice room , must sound wonderful.

My room is almost the opposite
it’s larger and talker about 110sqm and height 6-9 meter

2/3 of the ceiling area and one of the back corners are acoustically treated

The room “sounds “ balanced, no echo alive but not bright

Yes, my sister bought that for me many years ago. I grew up listening and watching what was called "The Golden Age of Comedy". I think the world would be a better place right now if we heard from their like. I also loved Jack Benny, the Marx Brothers and Buster Keaton. They were masters of timing and delivery.
