    Paul...
do you use Kondo Cables with the Overture ?
I bought KSL VzII IC’s and Operia SPS 2.7 silver cables and also a KSL phono cable for the SME V. They are incredible.
Expensive but mandatory with Kondo imho.

They can drive the M40.3XD effortlessly. No issue there. The 595 sounds more like tube vs 590 and runs hotter

Which SS integrated amp do you use / like, Paul?
Maybe some superintegrated, as there are some on the market in this kind.
I have, amongst other, a Jeff Rowland Daemon and this is a fantastic unit.

    Paul's Systems...Before and After.

Little update: all my Harbeth’s are gone and replaced by Falcon LS3/5a and I couldn't be happier. What amazing sounds ( placed them very near field )

My Avantgardes are still in place as my reference speakers. Getting 4 years old now. Whoa.

The Luxman 595 SE is one of my favourite SS integrated amp ever

Kondo Overture is still my reference tube amp too

Also, enjoying the Passlabs XA25 coupled with tube pre

LampizatOr has a new Emission Labs rectifier and sounds wonderful again

I think I accomplished the sounds I want in my rig. Very happy camper here.

Happy listening Paul's Systems...Before and After.

I preferred the Falcon GB much more they sound more musical and importantly I don’t hear the box sounds. I would take the GB over any Harbeth nor Graham. To me anyway

    Hi Jerome,

So far so good. Amazing sounds. It's not your typical 300b amp. They sound much more robust without losing the sweet mid.

I will get back to you with more listening

    Paul's Systems...Before and After.

Not much changed, but I updated to the new “Nickel” finish ( from Champagne )of Western Electric 91E.

I really love this integrated amp and just ordered the 16-ohm transformer bloc to match my 18-ohm Avantgarde and 15-ohm Falcon Gold badge. Wonder how the sounds will change. Hmmm. I hope I didn't waste my money lol

The most three dimensional recording I have heard is Coldplay's "Amsterdam" (on A Rush Of Blood To The Head). If the backing vocals don't creep up on you from behind then your playback system isn't three dimensional enough. The first time I heard it, it was terrifying. How a pair of speakers in front of you can localize sound coming from behind you is mind boggling.
