My Way
just playing around with my new Ipad Air 2 while me and my wife were in the basement earlier this evening.. she requested me to play some music she would recognize..
and who would not recognize My Way.
We're originally from the Philippines, where karaoke is very popular. At some point in time, this song was so popular among Sinatra wannabe's, a few of them got killed (for singing off key)... even wiki has a term for it - My Way Killings.

system is far from optimized, I plan to move things around in a couple of weeks

Re: My Way
Beautiful setup. Your Lamm amps are terrific. I still want a pair. What are the tube amps in the back?
Also, those are huge fish you have! What are they?My Systems: http://www.audioshark.org/showthread...481#post158481

Re: My Way
Thanks Joe and Mike.
The tube amps in the back are Trodt parallel single ended triode GM70. They were built by a friend of mine who custom winds all transformers himself.. It puts out 60+ watts of DHT bliss.
The aquarium is a DIY 1360 gallon, with 10 mature Asian arowanas. Yes, they're big, biggest of the bunch is ~30"
The room is not a dedicated room because I was into aquariums when we built the house in 2005, before I became an "audiophile".

Re: My Way
thanks Allen. It is the red M coat, same as the one in the S7 page at Magico website. My wife loves red, we're quite happy that it came out really close to the GTS red in our SUV..
the tank is a big anti audio. A lot of people who come to my place for audio end up asking more question about the tank during the first 60 minutes. One audiophile once told me that he had seen a lot of crazy things people had done to their house, this one ranks among that list.
Cool thing to have, but a big commitment as these fish live for more than 30 years.

Re: My Way
picture update
this is not a dedicated room.. rather a multi use room.
with the PSET GM70
the spare amps sit on top of the HT rack. I moved the pre amp, tt's and other 2 chaneel stuff away (closer to the aquarium) because our daughter occasionally entertain friends here, and sometimes play/party rough.
with Lamm M2.2
wider angle.. pls ignore the guy, he's the aquarium maintenance guy
a few things have changed since the pictures were taken, will post an updated picture when I get around to take more pictures... with Tidal, so much music, so little time

Re: My Way
it's actually S1 Mk1..
I was driving them with exact same associated gears, augmented by Von schweikert Shockwave V 15 powered sub, good but nowhere near the S7.
