My humble system
Music + souvenir system.
Each piece of gear bought while living in it country of origin. For example, bought Ktemas while living in Italy, Accuphase while living in Japan and remaining gear while in the US. Try to buy only gear from the original country. Problems only arise when dealing with warranties and voltage alterations, but so far no issues. Wish I had dedicated room for acoustics, but I only have what the military gives me.

Trust me, I am truly paranoid with every move. I contemplated storing the system prior to this move to Japan, but I knew I could not live without the system for 3 years. Thanks. The equipment for me is an experience. I just do not buy, but moreover treat it as a journey. I meet the people who is behind the equipment. Some people buy souvenirs or take pictures where they have been. I buy electronics from host countries to map where I have been. I enjoy the equipment that much more.

You should ask your dealer to bring the CH stuff he wants to sell you for home audition in your system. IMO there is no way to tell what will sound better in your system.
