T+A is awesome. Enjoy! Looking good there. Love the glass of Brandy? If so then bravo. I love a glass of Brandy listening to some good music!

One thought.... looks like the room might be a little lively. I would consider adding some absorption, or maybe consider some curtains on those windows. In my view you might get a little better balanced sound if there was more of a balance between reflective and absorbing materials. I noticed the treatments behind the speakers ...

One small thing worth considering is Jim Smith's book, "Get Better Sound". Great setup discussions; lots of tips. Some will apply for all of us, some may not.

    Hello Randy,

Thanks for your comment. The room is a bit lively, correct, but there is more damping than you see on the photo as well so its not too bad. Long term plan is to add more damping on the front wall as well as more carpets.

The guy in the picture is my brother having a cognac, sucking it all up. My old B&W 802 Matrix has retired to his living room, btw.

And yes, oh boy, this T+A stuff is good!! Deserves more attention IMO.

    Re: My House

Hey Regs... I definitely agree on the T+A equipment. Love my DAC and the little amp is amazing. I was trying to sell it because I am enthralled with the SET amps that I got a while ago. I just hate having such a great piece sitting there not being used. No takers so far... but that is ok. It is such a superb amp to have as a backup. I just believe that not of lot of people understand just how good T+A is. I go back and forth about just keeping it since it is so good .

Cognac... yum ... high grade Brandy ..

Good, so you are definitely dealing with making sure your room is balanced. Enjoy that fantastic setup!
