    My feel good system

image.jpgThe equipment rack is basically storage for my current setup. If I decide on this placement I’ll work on integrating the wires better.

Looks good and I’m sure it sounds even better. I dig the active Meridian’s.

    Re: My feel good system

It took a leap of faith as no shops or anybody had any I could listen to and all the reviews talk of tubby bass, but they have tone controls and side firing woofers have done better in this room. The se upgrade gave the bass more definition and raised the resolution of the system from 24/96 to 24/192 and if I ever step up to an ultra dac, dxd and dsd will become available. IDK if a system that converts all signals to digital until the last possible moment would share the virtues of a tt and tbh I gave all my old albums away years ago. Streaming is my current format.

    Re: My feel good system

The left speaker is 5’ from the sidewall and while the right speaker is only 3’ from the side wall I do have that wall treated, acoustic tiles over sheet rock on the ceiling and 12’ of air behind my listening chair. Those precautions and M’s own dsp tuning and it’s hard not to like. I just returned from a 3 day romp around the ozarks on the SDR and am settling in with some John Legend, darkness and light
