Jon.....I typically don't use them except on the record cleaning machine, however I had an extra one laying around so I use it on the Merrill Williams table. Since I have alot of gear up front I wouldn't want a bunch of reflective surfaces in that location. In regards to the cartridge covers I do use them because I'm alway working on and around the turntables.

Beautiful Jeff!!!!! If I'm good when I die, I'm hoping to end up someplace like that !! Lol
I see you run an entirely different set of gear with each table.
Do you ever flip back and fourth switching tables to gear?
I'd like to know what your opinions are on phonostages and cartridges that you use there
Ones you feel are the best in the room?
And once again, the best room ever!!!!!
    And those Joseph's are gorgeous.

    Hi Steve......thanks!

I swap all the tables and phono stages around.......being my amps are out and up front I just route the cables to anyone of the pre's I own, from there I cable to what ever source I choose to use. A few 3 meter cables allow me to run any combo. The gear on the three racks off to the side will get moved in to the center rack when I want to run one of those pieces. In regards to what's best phono/cartridge combo would be difficult for me to answer, my mood changes often as to what set up I run plus each set up brings something different to the party. Bottom line for me is I can't live with just one :o

Added the MyDacII......I'll be using this with my headphone rigs. There seems to be a surge of these moderate priced Dacs hitting the market the past few years. Spent a bit of time last night listening and its quite good.

Ever since I heard the 4BSST2 on Revel studio2's, I was impressed and really wanted the 28s (mainly because they seem so awesome). I think I know what you mean.

I know how the Bryston gear sounds, it's the PMC's I want to hear with the Bryston getup.

I may have to crash Jeff's party sometime soon and provide a report.

    Jeff,

I think it is TOO cool there is a thread dedicated to you..LOL...

Loving my table...Have a brand new OC9 arriving today, the AT33EV just did not cut it in detail...

And before you tell me that the cost of the two would have paid for what you suggested...I am getting a FULL refund in the 33EV....

Just FYI, I did a write-up comparing the two carts on another forum...pretty interesting...okay...I am babbling...

Hope makes up for it ...NEW HOME HEATING SYSTEM

MAIN RIG: Equipment: Marantz SR4023 as Pre / Velleman K4040 Tube Power Amp / Yamaha M65 Power Amp / Polk Monitor 70's with Polk Sub / ClearAudio Concept table with Musical Surroundings Phonomena II Phono Stage and ClearAudio Concept MC cart /Pioneer PL500 TT with AT440MLa

Installed the Shelter Harmony on the AMG table tonight......very rewarding cartridge if you spend the time on the set up, what cartridge isn't though spent about 4 hours fine tuning and with each adjustment I was able to move up a notch sound wise. I'm having custom made arc protractors made for each table and arm I own which should be here Tuesday so I'm curious how much further I can improve the AMG/Shelter......its pretty nice sounding as is oh and its made from Carbon Fiber
