    Re: Chris's Current System

I (think) I know what I want my next speakers to offer that I do not hear now, but speakers are hard for me - mating well with the Luxman, working in my room and to my ears... One of my first thoughts was the Magico A3, but I am not sure that's as great of a fit as I want to find. I asked you in one of your videos and you made a good suggestion: the Fyne F702. I am also interested in Devore's Super 9's. I may have the opportunity to hear some ProAc DT8's in my room.

Subwoofwers may be a good idea to try too...

The 595 is new. I've had it (#275) for a month so I need some time to recover. It will take me a bit of time and sniffing around!

The Proac and the Fyne are good choices.

Would personally never buy Devore. But that’s just me. Not my cup of tea.

The A3’s do work well with the 595.

I love what i see, a great combination of components and a lovely room.

Why are you looking to replace your speakers, what is missing for you?

I feel range limited. I want to fill in the foundation below 40Hz.

    Re: Chris's Current System

Looking at your luxmans spec, I honestly don't think Magico A3 is good match, Magico needs current (the more the better), there for I would look elsewhere for more efficiency speakers

    yes to subwoofers.
They provide "foundation" and can be used with any future speaker change.
