Hurricane Source vs HC
Hello
I am looking to get a Hurricane for my Bricasti M3H. The "H" version has the built in headphone amp. I emailed AQ customer service and they said I should get the HC version because it has an amplifier. A few days later I emailed Garth who said I should get the source version since "that’s a fixed current voltage amplifier output".
Just want to get some additional opinions and perspectives.

Re: Hurricane Source vs HC
I think Garth would know. I wouldn’t expect a headphone amplifier would draw any more current than a preamp.

Re: Hurricane Source vs HC
Why didn't you mention this to Garth? He should know that their service department is giving opposing advice

Re: Hurricane Source vs HC
I did not pull the trigger. I did not care for the sound of the cable.
