My brother has this conditioner and is very happy with it. Not crazy money with very good performance, that’s great!

Lots of great reviews... I think this months The Absolute Sound has an excellent review. Mine does everything I could want out of a power conditioner!

I have to agree with others. I've had this in my system on a dedicated 20amp circuit with nothing but positive results.

Re: Audioquest niagara 1000 power conditioner review
I just purchased a Niagara 1000 off Kingsrule recently (thanks!). Had a Thunder power cord coming in as well to complement this and plugged the cord between the wall outlet and the Niagara 1000. This is replacing a PI Audio Uber Buss with an older custom power cable to the wall.
"What the hell is this I'm hearing???" was the first thing that I thought. This was madness! I listened for about a couple of hours on some very familiar tracks.
I switched back to the PI Audio Uber Buss. "Whoa..." The loss in presence, details, specificity in instrument and sound placement was noticeable. I didn't expect this kind of change to come from a power cable and power conditioner change, as opposed to completely swapping out an amp, preamp, or even speakers. The audible differences are not subtle. They are a different character, flavor, whatever you want to describe it. It felt like I switched ice cream flavors from lavender vanilla to tropical passion fruit.
Sorry for resurrecting an older thread but had to post on here my impressions. I'm afraid what lies in wait if I go even further up the chain but, for now, I'm going to enjoy what I currently have for now. It's THAT good.

Yes...it makes for a BIG improvement. Every demo I've heard where at Altaira was in the system, folks listened, and then the Altaira(s) were removed, and folks immediately demanded the Altaira be put...
Altaira or Gemini CGS on...
