    Repairs to amps

My 610t amps need bias circuit repairs. I will send them back to Minnesota but if there is someone that know what they are doing closer to home in Florida I would appreciate the suggestion.

    Thanks
    Brad

    Re: Repairs to amps

Brad - I would send to the factory in MN and have them do the repair and a full check up. Hope they do a speedy service for you.

Unless you plan to live with these amps forever, I would send them back to ARC. By having someone outside of ARC doing the repair, ARC may refuse to service them in the future for you or anyone you sell them to in the future.

    Re: Repairs to amps

    Thanks for the feed back.
I have been conversing with ARC and they said it is more than likely a resistor at the site of the bias tube.

They suggested testing them and replacing if necessary.
I have an electrical engineer friend coming over Friday to test the resistors and diodes in the area.

I have some ARC provided resistors and diodes that are used when replacing blown tubes. If I need something different I will reach out to Mike to see if I can purchase them through him as ARC no longer sells direct to the owner.

    I will post the outcome.
