American Made: Audio Research I/50

The founders of these high end audio companies were entrepreneurs who had the know-how and drive.
But if a company wants to succeed once the founders are gone, they better have a well thought-out succession plan.

I don’t think ARC is going anywhere too soon unless Mike has an audio market crystal ball. Again I hope Trent has the vision to take ARC into many more years of audio success.

I feel like I am definitely missing something. It hasn't been that long since the 600M's, ARC was well represented at last Axpona.

The company have been bought back from the McIntosh group by the old management. Dave Gordon is back at the helm, Brandon is there - all wonderful people.

They have some pretty amazing products in their lineup right now. The I/50 is one of them.

So, what do folks see as the "issues" that are keeping ARC from, presumably, being at the forefront of high-end audio design and development? Some folks are intimating things, but nothing specific has been mentioned.

I have always liked ARC products but I don't like the industrial look. Maybe it is time for an update. Let's face it, many people buying expensive gear want it to look that way. Just look at McIntosh. They make a lot of sales just on aesthetics alone.
