Re: My Mapleshade rack
Thanks. The gear is undergoing an upgrade, and the cat is kind of cool. Her name is Navi from Feliz Navidad, and I had just finished watching Avatar for the umpteenth time.
She was an approximately 2 month old kitten who showed up at the patio door either late Xmas eve, or Xmas morning 2010. I was going to the garage to get a beer and wondered what my other cats were looking at outside in the rain. Turned on the light and there was this little soaking wet kitten who immediately bounded off into the night. She came back so I put some food out, and later decided to try and catch her. It took 2 days but I trapped her inside. It took 4 months before she trusted me enough to touch her. Anyway, she has turned out pretty good. For a cat.Bud

Re: My Mapleshade rack
Yes. I am in a 'Rosewood' phase. The speakers are on 4" Mapleshade rosewood speaker plinths with brass carpet spike footers.
I ordered a 5 shelf rosewood Samson v.2 for the HT/surround system. That will replace a dilapidated late 1970s particle board rack I have been hauling around most of my adult life.Bud

Re: My Mapleshade rack
Welcome to the shark w1cbs.
Bud great looking rack & cat. I too have tamed wild cats. I once had a cat in Perth Western Australia called "Horse" :- google Footrot Flats, you'll get a laugh, great kiwi humour, took me 3 months of feeding & patience until one day he came in the house & sat down next to me, after that he just totally trusted me. Anybody else that touched him he would draw blood in multiple areas, much to my delight I might add too.

You should ask your dealer to bring the CH stuff he wants to sell you for home audition in your system. IMO there is no way to tell what will sound better in your system.
