I just recieved some Tannoy speakers but did not get much info on them. The nameplate reads Model No. Studio Prof. Mnt. Serial numbers a re Z1578 , Z1579 also on nameplate MDC/15/SC 107909. The cabinets are woodgrain looking vinyl on particle board. They measure 42" H 30" W 24" deep. They have a black grille and look like an Altec A7 cabinet. The speaker has a pink plastic magnet cover and white frame, number on frame 104042 , info on magnet cover Monitor Dual concentric loudspeaker LSU/HF/15.L. the crossover is a tan plastic box with on adustable control. These are a special product that were sold in 1972 among other possible years. They are Gold drivers and will fill an auditorium! In 1972 I worked for a Tannoy dealer in Omaha, George Tobias, and he had a pair in stock, $450. In talking with Tannoy, they had the GRF Professional and the
Autograph Professional in the same time period. These Studio Professionals are not referenced on the internet, but I remember them and have a local friend who owns a pair. Enjoy them!

Agree , them are Gold not Red monitors. Basket and Xossovers are from gold .

I appreciate the help in identifying them would like to sell them not sure if $2000 US dollars is a fair price. Shipping is crazy because of weight and size. I am near Buffalo NY specifically Grand Island NY 14072. Would prefer local pickup I have plain receiver to play music through them and sound fine. You could always bring your preferred gear to power them up. Guess if nothing works out will do the Ebay thing but new that. By the way Scholzee is a nick name form grade school my friends called me in reference to my last name which is 7 characters and scholzee is 8 go figure. I am 51 so nick names were in back then.

IMO, if everything works properly, you might get up to $3000 after you legitimately clean up the cabinets... They are awesome speakers though
not many people have enough room for them :)
