When the Galileo series was announced last year, they showed the GSi75 a $19K intergrated amp with a built in DAC.

The GSi75 isn't listed on ARC's website, does anyone know if they still plan to offer the product?

I found this for ARC in "Exhibitor Profiles" for the upcoming show in Newport Beach. I wish they had also listed what speakers they will use. There was a 70 word max.

"There will be two systems, including the world premier of the new GSi75 integrated amplifier. Using the new KT150 output tube, the GSi75 includes digital inputs (USB, Toslink and coax) and a phono stage.

The larger system includes REFCD9, REF 10 line stage and REF Phono 10."

The missing parts of the music.

You want more detail?

Try different cables. My Devialet gives me all the details and more. Its a giant killer in my books.

No.

That's also my unbiased opinion.

Good luck with the GSI75. ARC builds wonderful gear. I've owned the REF250's and REF10 and others.

I don't understand what you mean but I do realize all gear sounds different and not everyone likes the same thing.

I do. And I think the Devialet (especially for the money) is a killer product. We just got a firmware upgrade that gave us DSD and more sound quality among other enhancements. Sounds great to me and balances out other gear that I have.

If the new ARC integrated is anything close to their new amp - then it's going to be a killer like the Devialet. Just different.

if you are in the market for a very very natural sounding integrated amplifer/dac you might investigate the brand new darTZeel LHC-208 'Streaming' Amplifier (http://www.monoandstereo.com/2014/01/dartzeel-lhc-208-integrated-streaming.html).

last year at the Newport Show I spent 3-4 hours listening to this amp-pre-dac and can say I was blown away. the amp in this product reminds me of my dart 458's, the highest compliment I can give. and the dac is world class.

OK, I had a long chat with Dan (mauidan). He's not a dealer and therefore there is nothing to disclose.

I hope Dan will weigh in with regards to his plans/thoughts, etc. as far as his system is concerned.

Good chat tonight Dan. Carry on...

Mike,

Mahalo for the suggestion.

I'd love to hear the darTZeel integrated amps, but there's no dealer in my area and I'd never buy anything from the US Distributor.

Nelson...congrats

So this puts out 75wpc using 4 KT-150 tubes?

Also, if you had to guess, the phono stage and DAC are at what level of performance when compared to the stand-alone Pono and digital players in ARC line-up (PH-6/8 for phono and DAC-8 for the DAC with added DSD processing)?

Ritmo

Cyril - I was wondering as well. My guess is the same or similar phono of the SP-20 offering.
