Leben Hi-Fi Stereo Company: Everything designed and made by the remarkable Mr. Taku Hyodo for his private label Leben line is simply wonderful, you can’t go wrong with any of it as the beating heart of your Hi-Fi system. Very highly recommended. I’ve owned quite a lot of Leben gear myself over the years, and I’d particularly like to add some of the discontinued amplifiers to my collection, but they rarely turn up used, which is no surprise considering how delightful they are.

One of the easiest music lover recommendations to serve as the core electronics for a fine music system is the Leben CS-600 integrated amplifier in combination with the Leben RS-30EQ phono equalizer. This combination has received almost universal accolades over the years as a stellar performer that’s left listeners wondering why you would ever want to spend more on Hi-Fi. See the A Simple Guide to Creating a Musically Satisfying Hi-Fi System and Winning Combinations blog posts for some ideas on setting up a system that you can just sit back and enjoy listening to music with while building your record collection.

Joe...I think I'm getting old. Lol. Now these days I don't look for the Dynamic , Airy , Micro detail system anymore.

I just want to sit back and relax..Listen to music Not the system ...

Paul,

I agree. I think that's why I am loving the McIntosh gear on my TADs. It's a wonderful combo that sounds great.

Paul, I've always had a love for the CS-600. I like that it can use either 6L6 (32w) or EL34 (28w) tubes, and I'm so drawn to the looks and styling of it. To me it looks like a piece from a bygone era. I would love to hear one of these someday. A CS600, a nice turntable, a pair of speakers and :audiophile:.
