The young lady who grew up and lives across the street from us made the finals of the Women's SlopeStyle Snowboarding event. We are very proud of Karly Shorr who ended up in 6th place.

I'm big, no, make that I'm huge on all Olympic sports, including the 2014 Winter Olympics @ Sochi.

Because that's where you see real life joy & drama. ...That's where you see in real life what humanity is all about.
...With all the good and the bad.

The emotions are @ the highest level of the human heart, spirit & soul. ...The best calibers are on display and performing.

And so far I've seen some amazing things, and the reflective balance I make of it all is pure love and peace and real truth.
I love people more than ever each passing day. ...I take the positive side of the human spirit, and leave the negative to the billions of stars in the firmament.

I am deeply satisfied by the good of man and woman. These games are a life's lesson on how the world should live together, a lesson for all the decision making people, the elected elite of our planet.

There is so much good to learn, so much stuff to digest and to rejoice.

Norway is leading right now with eleven medals. And my own country is in second place, with nine.
I feel closer to the people from all the other countries than ever.
I am proud of all the young athletes from all over the world, proud of all people who stand for fine.
I encourage them in their quest to share their dreams with fever.

Go for gold! :peace:

The most exciting event for me so far has been the Dutch winning all the podium spots in the 500m speed skating. An event they never won before, which seems odd given their dominance in the sport.

The US men's hockey team looked AMAZING today! Talk about chemistry! The Russian's look really good too. Sweden ... Not so much. Canada looked dysfunctional for the first period, better in the second and average in the third.

Loving Olympic hockey!! Love the bigger ice surface and no touch icing (that's just smart).

Go Canada and USA!!!

Canadian Men's Curling team just defeated China in a game of nerves.

* My favorite Winter Olympics event(s):
Ice Hockey, Curling, Cross-country Skiing 50 km and 4x10 km Relay, and Speed Skating 10,000 meters.

You? ...Curling? ...Alpine Skiing? ...Bobsled? ...High Ski Jumping? ...Winter Sauna and Water Polo? ;)

Hey, Men's Hockey: Canada just defeated USA! :exciting: :woot: ...Next, the final game with Sweden for Gold!

Go Canada Go!

* BTW, we're in third place now for overall Gold, Silver, Bronze medals won! ...With Gold being the main important color; of course.
...Not bad for a small bunch of Nordics (Igloo people) living in the beautiful land of the Northern American continent.
...With beautiful people. ...America; the three amigos - Canada, USA, Mexico. ...And South America; the fourth musketeer.
We're all brothers and sisters, friends and families, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, and of all flamboyant colors. :)

Men's Hockey (USA vs Finland): Finland won, for the Bronze medal.

* Russia ranks number one now in the overall standings. ...But it don't matter for most Russian people; no medal in Men's Hockey.

Tomorrow's the ultimate game of the entire Winter's Olympic Games @ Sochi 2014. :exciting:
Would that determine who's overall best in the whole world? ...You bet it will! :) :D

Go Canada Go Gold! :woot:
