Thanks for posting this Bob brings back memories of when I was a kid

I remember my mom when she was vacuuming the living room on Saturdays, while I was younger, along with my brothers, sisters, and dad.
We had to lift our feet up!

And it was so noisy that our reading (books, National Geographic, comics, playboy, ...) or tv (tube) watching or music (albums spinning from the turntable) listening was totally interrupted! ...Just a big pain in the butt, that routinely memory moment. ...The fifties, and the sixties (I took off in the seventies, for good).

I wonder how many people here know about vacuums; the ones from this thread?
