Your place is definitely evolving. In my previous visits the main room always had stellar products while the ones on each side might have been considered one step down. Now all three rooms are filled with top of the line products that compete with the best. Nice job!!!

Mike! You should have posted pictures of what the shop looked like on Monday when I came by!......It was like OMG I better get out of here before he puts me to work! I genuinely felt sorry for Mike.......for about 5 seconds....cause...as I looked at the complete disarray of his shop ...I realized though being a mess it was State Of The Art mess!
When I came back on Thursday it was all perfect! Everything in place like Santa’s elves had put in overtime. Wow! The new racks are mind boggling .....
He twisted my arm and forced me to listen to his M3 with the MSB Select Dac.....yep NIRVANA.....All Apologies ..(for the bad puns)
Then I let him crank up his MBL room (since my morning was shot already) with not 1 but 2 MBLs amplifiers biwired into each speaker. Yo! The spaciousness of the sound from those omnidirectional speakers was simply amazing!
Yes......Mike has more toys than Santa!.....and yes I believe in him!.....

I can honestly say that I"ve been in so many listening rooms in my life from all over the world. Mike's rooms are some of the best sounding rooms that I've been in. If you are able to get to Sarasota, it's more than worth it. It's so much more than just the hospitality and set of equipment. I really need some Vicoustics.

Acoustic treatment is indeed a big deal IMO. My system got to a new level when adding it.

Totally agree. The thing is, most stores and also customers over do it. Stores are trying to sell as much as they can and have to show the various devices they sell. Then they get rooms that don't always sound the best and folks get used to hearing a damped presentation and think that it what sounds best. I now so many who pay someone to do a room evaluation and of course they need to make it seem like they are earning their keep. I have been using record racks, well placed quilts on the first reflection walls etc... and feel the room sounds pretty darn good considering how open it is as I'm in a loft. I also listen in a near field position that helps me not hear as much of the 'room'.

My room was transformed from a typical room to amazing room after using Vicoustics. The second you enter it your can hear your voice sound more "natural" and with less effort needed when speaking due to the lower noise within the room. It's was the right product for me to really combat room interactions.

Agree Vicoustic and Art Novion do a great job and look great at the same time. I still find nothing better than ASC but augment my room with the Art Novion

Ditto on Vicoustics. I saw and heard them at Mike’s. Decided to purchase a number of absorption panels and install corner bass traps. One of the best investments in audio I’ve ever made.

So, as I wrote on this thread before, not only are Mike’s rooms fantastic looking they also sound great.
