Hi Guys,

Looking at the SS103 to replace my current power amps. My speakers are Sasha 2.

Any comments on the compatibility?

The ARC preamps tend to be high gain... giving me a slight noise from speakers up close..

Thanks in advance

Wouldn’t be my pick. Look at a GS150 or REF75SE

I have used my ARC Ref. 6 pre-amp with both an ARC GS-150 and Pass XA 100.8's on Sasha 2's with no noise from speakers up close.
With my current Avantgarde Duo XD's which are 107db efficient I am using ARC Ref. 160's and there is virtually no noise.
I am using 20' long balanced interconnects from pre-amp to amps.

I had this combo till just recently. No compatibility issue at all, excellent match.

SS-103 can be ordered with different gain levels if required. I had the SS-103 on home dem and there is a lot to like about it. However, I found it lacks speed and transparency to some other amps and so moved on.
I would therefore make sure that the pre-amp I was using didn't add to this. Having spent some time with the Ref 10, I would think the Ref 6 should be fine.
