Anyone who clicked on link I posted, would see this picture.

Why did you feel the need to post it?

Hi Dan,

Maybe someone wants to see who Jake Shimabukuro is without clicking on the link. Or will click later, at their leisure, and is curious what Jake Shimabukuro looks like to see if they recognize him. I certainly don't know who he is and I think Jake Shimabukuro would appreciate getting more attention and possibly someone buying his music. I was going to link some of his youtube videos too but did not have the time yet.

Would it be okay for me to link to some of his youtube videos? I'd like our members to get a sense of his music style. He seems like a cool guy.

Dear Mr. Super Moderator,

The Stereophile link I posted has plenty of info and videos of Jake.

You don't need to duplicate it.

I am not "duplicating" it, I am just posting it here. If anyone else has any objections, please let me know.

Not sure why Dan is so bent. Have been a big Jake fan for a long time "Walking Down Rainhill" is a go to for me. Post away Joe!

After looking at the Stereophile link, it seems like "duplicating" to me.

If you open any of Jake's YouTube videos, there are loads of others to view.

I have objections to Dan objecting. I'm glad you posted the pic and it saved me from having to click on the link. Dan is famous for posting links to stories, but he is very short on ever writing anything himself and posting it on a forum. Dan is the silent link master. Frankly I'm amazed he took the time to bitch about you posting a harmless picture related to his link. Big deal-you posted a picture. Maybe Dan's worried that people won't click on his link.

Thank you gentlemen. That was my point. There's no harm in providing more context for something being posted. We are all busy and, Mark, I agree, if you see a video or photo here, you can click later on now for even more info.

What you see here is mild compared to my pm's. :P

Hey, I'm here to help you guys and facilitate the free flow of information and ideas. I love to share. :D

Saw a documentary on Jake Shimabukuro a year ago. Very cool. Thx for the reminder Dan and Joe.

PS: Dan...chill out dude. It's an audio site. Joe is not trying to take credit or whatever else might be the issue you're having with his posts. Everyone here is about sharing info and having fun.

The system and Jake are shown in the video link in my post #22.

After reading post #24, I saw that some people are too lazy to click on posted links, so I posted that picture which was on the WA FB page today.

Wow! Such a snarky comment. I'll let our members decide your fate. These kind comments have no place here and just show what kind of person you really are, not only here, but I am sure in "real" life.

Thank you for posting. Truth reveals itself.

“Snarky,” Post #24 defines that term.

Attack and name call the OP for posting informational links without providing any editorial comment.

But, you’re the “Super Moderator”, so I'll await the results of your kangaroo court.

If this what AS is all about, you and Mike have a real problem.

What's with all the "Super Moderator" cr@p. I don't get it. You and Dan live in one of the most beautiful places on earth, Hawaii, and you get upset with what goes on here, that I post photos and embed videos from your links? There's more important stuff to get upset about.

I've been Oahu and Big Island and fell in love with weather and ways of life there. Caribbean and Bahamas may have slightly better water, but culturally and weather-wise (being part of US also helps) that's where I wanna retire. My wife just bought tickets to my fav place for my birthday in February. [emoji6]

Having dived in the VI, BVI and Grand Cayman, I agree the water there is superior to most areas in HI. The Kona side of Hawaii especially South Point are the best, followed the back side of Lanai and Molokai.

Our favorite place in the Islands was Kona Village, but it closed due to the earthquake damage generated by the tsunami of 2011.

Enjoy your birthday vacation.
