    Viva Aurora RCA inputs

    All

I was wondering if anyone has used the RCA inputs on this amp. I have the latest T 845 version, and am finding that the RCA female inputs are a little loose. Just wondering if people had luck with a specific brand of RCA plugs. For example, I was considering Belden 8402 with Switchcraft 3502AAU connectors and was wondering if they would fit. I'm currently driving these directly from a Chord DAVE using the balanced inputs, but DAVE's RCA outputs are much higher current and the Auroras are not really a balanced amp, so I was considering using single ended for this connection. In addition, I'm looking to use the second set of outputs on the DAVE to drive a couple of JL Audio subs as well, so I'm also curious about the best configuration overall.

Would love to hear any suggestions.

Anil, try to get the RCA connectors that you can unscrew and screw down tight. We have never had an issue with the RCA connections with any of our Viva amps.

WBT locking RCA is one of the best I have used, especially their Ag version.
