Sounds like a good match. I think I may go with the VAC 200iq when I order mine, although I'm not sure if I should go monoblock or just the stereo 200iq.

Sopra 3? I think 100w of tube power in stereo would be enough for 91.5dB efficient, 8 ohm nominal speaker.

I liked the Progression Integrated so I shared it to see if anyone else would contribute to the topic. Is that OK with you or do I need to get your personal permission next time?

I love the D'Agostino Momentum gear. I'd love to hear the Progression stuff in person. My understanding from friends who've heard it say that it's more neutral sounding.

I kind of like seeing new/different combos of gear that I've not experienced in person. Obviously making a final judgement in sound quality from a YouTube video is not prudent, but we can get a good sense.

I was very happy with D'Agostino Momentum Monos. Very rich, yet dynamic and resolving without ever sounding lean or threadbare. I think Dan builds fantastic products in his new venture/company not that some of the legendary Krell products were chopped liver either.

I will have to give the Progression line a listen Joe, I am not familiar.

While youtube in not the standard by which to judge an audio component, I still think plenty of information can be derived. They also say a picture is worth a thousands words. If that is true, what is a whole video worth?

In my opinion, it's all about balance. More neutral gear for warmer/sweeter sounding speakers and the reverse is true as well. Warmer/sweeter front end for more neutral speakers.

Opening a topic just with a link, without saying anything else, is so poor, so poor...
But now I know that the intention is to comment on the amplifier and NOT the speakers ...
You might had said it right away ...

    Totally agree.
But then maybe a single topic called "big systems playing well on you tube" can be opened and we feed it with the links.

Understood and agree a little more context is always good.

Your grade of "poor" on my topic opening skills of a nice integrated playing on a nice pair of speakers in an audio forum, is more of an indication of your personal mental state than my actual post. I did not break any rules or posting etiquette in my opinion. Why you even bothered to bring up a complaint is however crystal clear. I suggest you address those issues instead of passive aggressive attacks from your keyboard.

    Nah...

I asked a legitimate question since it was not the first topic open like this (*) and you answered with an active aggressive attack
